Classification, diagnosis and treatment standards for different options for nasal obstruction

The urgency of the problem
Nasal obstruction is one of the leading problems in otorhinolaryngology. It can be associated with rhinitis (allergic, infectious, vasomotor, drug, hypertrophic, idiopathic, etc.), nasal polyps, anatomical abnormalities (atresia, curvature of the nasal septum, conhae bullose, etc.), adenoid vegetations, neoplasms , foreign bodies, rhinoliths.
Despite the widespread prevalence of the problem of nasal obstruction, until now, strange as it may seem, there is no single view on the strategy and tactics of its treatment. So, to date, there is no generally accepted classification of rhinitis.
The problem of allergic rhinitis has to be divided into several specialties, to which a special meeting of the Expert Council was devoted.

- polypous rhinosinusitis
- tactics of surgical treatment of nasal obstruction
- questions on various options for nasal obstruction.

XX Congress of Otorhinolaryngologists of Russia

We invite you to take part in the XX All-Russian Congress of Otorhinolaryngologists. The congress will discuss further ways of development of domestic otorhinolaryngology, revise some classifications, traditional diagnostic and treatment schemes.

The congress will take place from 6 to 9 September 2021 at the World Trade Center, Moscow, Krasnopresnenskaya nab., 12.

Within the framework of the congress, four days of a rich program are envisaged, which will include: a reporting and re-election meeting of the governing bodies of the National Medical Association of Otorhinolaryngologists; scientific meetings in all areas of our specialty - rhinology, otiatrics, audiology, audiology, vestibulology, phoniatrics, pediatric otorhinolaryngology, etc .; seminars, schools, master classes will be organized, where leading otorhinolaryngologists from Russia, the CIS countries, the European Union, the near and far abroad will share their experience.
