Address to the authors
of the journal Rossiyskaya Otorinolaringologiya (Russian Otorhinolaryngology)
Dear colleagues!
The journal Rossiyskaya Otorinolaringologiya expects your publications concerning contemporary issues of otorhinolaryngology and related disciplines. The publishing of articles in the hard and soft copy versions of the journal is absolutely free. The journal's archive with your papers is in the public domain, except for the last published issue of the current year, which is available by subscription.
The journal has several sections wherein you may publish your scientific and practical papers:
- original articles related to the new specialty aspects;
- scientific articles reflecting scientific research of authors;
- practical activities (practice cases, casuistry, etc.);
- literary reviews;
- school of pharmacotherapy and innovative technologies, where methodological articles on new drugs and innovative high-tech equipment are concentrated;
- anniversary articles.
When accepting the article, we apply “Antiplagiat” system to it. Due to this and professional publishing ethics, we do not recommend sending papers published earlier in other sources.
The journal currently claims to be included in the list of journals that are part of the international citation database. Therefore, it is especially strictly necessary to treat both the content of the paper and the formal design of articles. To meet international standards, please learn the tips and requirements set out in the publication rules in this section.
All incoming papers undergo anonymous (blind) review from members of the Editorial Board and are allowed for publishing only after correcting the comments by the reviewer. At the same time, the author is eligible to defend his point of view in response to the reviewer's comment.
The Editorial Board pays special attention to the list of papers cited by the author. We do not consider it ethical when the author does not refer to papers of similar orientation published earlier in our journal.
Taking into account the requirements of international scientific citation databases, as well as accounting for the scope of reviewers' paper, we have limited the number of articles of the scientific section (no more than 8-10 per each issue). In this regard, the waiting period for publication increased, but the articles began to be scrutinized.
We are doing hard to print every received paper which meets all the above requirements as quickly as possible.
Since its founding, for the past 20 years, Rossiyskaya Otorinolaringologiya has been regularly included in the list of publications recommended by the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles. Besides, this journal may be found in almost all modern all-Russian and international electronic catalogues.
