ABSTRACT
In this study, the authors analyzed the parameters of the speech processor adjustment in implanted patients with different etiology of sensorineural hearing loss. It has been revealed that only in children with severe hearing impairment after meningitis the basal electrodes impedance significantly increases within 12 months after the first activation of speech processor, and the average values of maximally comfortable volume levels definitely vary in 3 and 12 months after the first course of rehabilitation.
