The status of mucociliary activity of ostiomeatal complex mucous membrane in prediction of inflammatory diseases of paranasal sinuses

ABSTRACT
It is well known that a disorder of mucociliary system of the nasal cavity mucous membrane plays a significant role in recurrence of the paranasal sinuses chronic inflammatory diseases. The article provides the algorithms and results of the study of motional activity of ostiomeatal complex ciliated epithelium in the patients with chronic purulent rhinosinusitis. The results obtained prove the significant role of disorder of functional activity of ostiomeatal complex ciliated epithelium in the pathogenesis of paranasal sinuses chronic inflammatory diseases.
