ABSTRACT
The objective of the work is the comparative assessment of protruding concha otoplasty methods and the implementation of an original method aimed at the improvement of aesthetic results. The authors have analyzed the results of otoplasty in 125 patients over the period of August 2008 to September 2017. The surgical correction was performed using three methods: Converse, Stenstrom and Rogazhinskas-Dobrjakov technique (patent Nо. 2254333 of 2003). The quality assessment parameters were: the aesthetic result, the severity of pain syndrome in the postoperative period, the complications, the postoperative period duration, the subjective assessment of the patient. The result was assessed directly on the operating table, one and six months after the operation. The facts obtained as a result of the study are presented in the digital material, which is processed using the variation statistics data. The authors prove the overall advantage of using the original method over the classical operations.
