ABSTRACT
The evaluation of the efficiency of the application developed by the authors for a cell phone on the Android platform for the rehabilitation of patients with peripheral vestibular dysfunction is given. The description of the capabilities of the mobile application, methods of training oculomotor reactions, and methods of monitoring the effectiveness of exercises are presented. A comparison was made between a group of patients receiving rehabilitation using the traditional method and using a cell phone application. The effectiveness of rehabilitation was assessed using the DHI scale (Dizziness Handicap Inventory). In both groups, after the use of rehabilitation, there was a statistically significant decrease in the total scores on the DHI scale. There were no significant differences in DHI scores between the two groups of patients. Patients undergone rehabilitation using a mobile application showed greater commitment to treatment.
