ABSTRACT
Nowadays, juvenile angiofibroma of skull base is one of the most complex and understudied problems of clinical and theoretical medicine. Angiofibroma of skull base occupied the leading position among the nasopharynx benign tumors. The article analyzes surgical approaches and excision methods suggested by many authors. The authors observed 82 patients whose clinical semiology and course of disease have been described. The article describes the methods of the patient preparation for the surgery which are of great importance for successful surgical treatment. The article describes a sparing method of the tumor excision from nasopharynx, radicalism and warning relapses. Much attention is paid to the patients’ post-operative management.
