ABSTRACT
The correct diagnosis and the choice of approach of surgical treatment of vasomotor rhinitis seem to be a simple task. However, the choice of surgical methods should be based on low invasiveness principle, providing early rehabilitation of the patient, as well as on reasonability principle, providing the efficacy of the treatment. We examined 106 patients with the deviated nasal septum and vasomotor rhinitis after surgical treatment. During the operation we revealed anatomical features of inferior turbinate structure. Based on these data, we have developed an original method of turbinoplasty with regard to intraoperative characteristics of inferior turbinate structure. 28 patients have been operated on according to this method. The efficacy of the suggested original surgical treatment method has been proven by the clinical data and the results of objective research methods.
