ABSTRACT
The article describes the effect of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) on the processes of tissue regeneration in operative treatment of the patients with chronic suppurative otitis media with cholesteatoma with the simultaneous plastic surgery of postoperative cavity and ossiculotympanoplasty. In the main group, in the children patients (n = 59), the operative cavity was filled with bone chips with ceftriaxone powder and plasma gel. The adults (n = 16) were additionally injected the native PRP on both sides of the developing cicatrix and parameatally. In the comparison group, PRP was not used. The study conducted has proven the efficiency of PRP usage for regeneration of organ-specific tissues and restoration of the organ function.
