ABSTRACT
The authors present a clinical case of a one-year-old child with a foreign object (diode lamp) in the larynx. Despite the large size of the aspirated object and its localization at the level of the glottis, the child was breathing through the natural airway. The foreign body was removed through the natural airway, by direct laryngoscopy, no complications occurred. This supervision once again emphasizes the necessity of timely objective examination for revealing foreign objects of respiratory ways in infants.
