ABSTRACT
The article considers the opportunity of restoration of the eyeball position inside the orbit after a fracture of the upper wall of the maxillary sinus and the stages for its long-term fixation in the orbit. The authors presented and studied the materials used for this purpose. In the process of formation of a support structure in the cylindrical maxillary sinus of 3 patients, the material of choice was the demineralized bone grafts. The results of surgical treatment were satisfactory – no eyeball displacement with the corresponding clinical symptoms was observed in the late postoperative period.
