ABSTRACT
The authors present a case study: a rare observation of extensive retropharyngeal hematoma. The cause of the retropharyngeal hematoma was an undiagnosed injury of the cervical region of vertebral column with a gradual involvement of the spinal cord in the traumatic disease.
