ABSTRACT
Various methods are used during examination of pediatric patients with the nose and paranasal sinus pathology, including the nasal discharge analysis. The fundamentals of the method were developed in the early 20th century; the method is rather simple and, despite the emergence of new high-tech examination methods, it is still widely used by various specialists, including otorhinolaryngologists, when working with children.
