ABSTRACT
The article presents clinical cases of patients with paratonsillitis at the stage of abscess formation in patients in the age group from 65 to 82 years, which caused the hospitalization of patients. The clinical picture of the disease is displayed, the stages of patient examination are described, on the basis of which the diagnosis is made. The results of laboratory and instrumental research methods in dynamics and the results of histological examination are presented.
