ABSTRACT
The article deals with the methods of visualization of the structures of the inner ear. An analysis of studies aimed at determining the possibilities of using MRI in the diagnosis of Meniere’s disease was carried out. We examined 13 patients with significant Meniere’s disease. The patients were intravenously injected with a gadolinium-based contrast agent. After 4 hours, an MRI of the brain was performed on a Philips Ingenia magnetic resonance imaging scanner with a magnetic field strength of 1.5 Tesla using the 3D-FLAIR sequence. The diagnosis of Meniere’s disease was confirmed in 11 patients.
