ABSTRACT
The authors made a review of literature devoted to substantiation of central mechanisms of pathogenetic processes regulation in otosclerosis. Theoretical prerequisites in genetic theory of otosclerosis, the role of endocrine and immune systems, genesis of hearing and neurological regulation dysfunction are considered in the altered role of central neural system in basic adaptive-accommodative processes regulation.
