ABSTRACT
This review provides information on application of infrared radiation, selective chromophototherapy in red and blue bands, short-wave ultraviolet radiation, and the use of low-intensity laser radiation in combined therapy of lymphopharyngeal ring diseases in children (chronic adenoiditis, chronic tonsillitis). The article describes the basic biological mechanisms providing clinical effect of each of the above-described types of optical radiation. The study was aimed at drawing the scientific interest to non-medicinal methods of treatment of lymphopharyngeal ring diseases in children.
