ABSTRACT
The authors demonstrate the possibility of reducing the use of vasoconstrictive intranasal agents in children with acute infectious rhinopharyngitis. According to clinical observations using anterior active rhinomanometry cosmetic gel containing a complex of low molecular weight polymer glycosaminoglycans and hyaluronic acid when applied to the skin of the face in the area of the external nose and cheeks, develops an effect comparable to the effect of intranasal decongestants.
