ABSTRACT
The objective of the study was to categorize, using ROC-analysis, the variables of the disease duration and the patient’s age in the model of forecast of the outcome of surgical intervention in Meniere’s disease. Therefore, to be used in the model of prognosis of the outcome of surgical intervention in Meniere’s disease, the parameters of age and duration of the disease can be statistically reasonably simplified in the form of discrete predictors. Instead of the quantitative indicator “patient’s age”, the predictor “age less than or equal to 45” can be used in the model, and instead of the indicator “duration of disease” a predictor “duration of disease less than or equal to 10 years” can be used.
