ABSTRACT
The incidence of paranasal sinus diseases, as well as the complications thereof, increases year by year. The development of sinus mucosa inflammation is evoked by both general and local factors. Sphenoid sinus inflammation occurs much rarer, however, the number of reports about this sinus damage has increased in the recent decades; the mycetomas of sphenoid sinuses are more seldom reported about.
